‘Whatever good things we build, end up building us’ - Jim Rohn.

Architecture and design go hand-in-hand. Our partnership with Nordon Jago Architects (NJA) saw us work together to redesign their website in alignment with their new marketing strategy. NJA was after a new site to help reach their key target audiences, while simultaneously supporting the expression of their brand values and core strengths in a more succinct way. We went to the foundations of the existing identity, to understand how we could make changes that would reward the brand with a clearer expression of its strategy and creative design direction.

The only element that to remain unchanged in this good project was the NJA logo. As part of the process, we stripped the visual elements of the brand back to basics. This gave us the freedom to explore the design in a conceptual way – through typography, photography, colours, grids and layouts, whilst building upon the equity in the existing brand.

that’s goodwork

It was our job to not just understand the way in which the site would work and the brief in hand, but NJA’s approach to people and work. We got to know the business like a trusted friend and worked collaboratively to ensure that the identity refresh and web design achieved its goals in reaching new audiences, while clearly articulating the nuances of the new marketing strategy in creative ways.

the good stuff

  • brand refresh
  • website design

Excellent design anticipates and responds to different perceptions and needs, and synthesizes them into the built environment. We begin with the end in mind, planning from the inside out so that form follows function.
